Henna tattoos are a non-permanent dying or staining on the top layer of skin using a henna paste product. This process is known as Mehndi, and is a popular form of skin adornment in Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, the Near East and South Asia.
The henna application is painless, is brown in color and usually involves an intricate design pattern. It slowly fades over the course of 5 days-3 weeks, depending on where placed on the body.
